exploring links between materiality and memory, my aim this semester was to create tangible material markers to represent memories in the form of dolls. interaction with these dolls enables participants to re-experience the nostalgia and obliviousness of childhood playtime and escape the turbulence of adult living in today’s world. my work also acts as an untimely souvenir to preserve the current state of my memories and contemporary society which could be used for future recollection.
