tegan chaffer is a fourth year painting student at edinburgh college of art, graduating in july 2023. she currently specialises in small scale, intimate realism paintings  exploring themes of memory and control, along with soft sculpture dolls. raised in the middle of england, she is interested in depictions of the home and the family dynamics within it, using interior spaces in her paintings to explore her dually comforting and complex relationship with this space.
