in colour

my practice through semester two similarly focused on the passage of time, specifically looking at memory and nostalgia. with the title 'in colour' as a basis for our project this semester, i explored the idea of ageing and bleaching as a basis for my palettes, quite often using lighter, or more subtle palettes in my work. i also experimented with the use of bleach on black paper, where the corrosive nature of bleach mirrored the fading of memory over time.
